Vedanta Limited, a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources Limited, is a global natural resources conglomerate. Our strategic asset base across India, Africa and the Middle East positions us to serve growing global demand. We operate across zinc-lead-silver, iron ore, steel, copper, aluminium, power, nickel, and oil and gas, holding market-leading positions in several of these businesses.
Integrated Reporting explains how we create, preserve and, where relevant, erode value over time, aligned with our purpose, strategy and values. Since adopting Integrated Reporting in FY 2017-18, we have strengthened integrated thinking and continuously enhanced our disclosures.
The FY 2025-26 report presents a comprehensive view of our material matters, their impact on the environment and society, and the associated risks and opportunities influencing business performance. It supports an informed assessment of our ability to create value across the short, medium and long term.
The Integrated Report and Annual Accounts 2025-26 cover the reporting period from 01 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 and provides a comprehensive overview of Vedanta Limited (Vedanta, VEDL), a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources Limited.
It reflects performance across our business segments: zinc-lead-silver, oil and gas, aluminium, power, iron ore, steel, nickel and copper. Our assets span India, South Africa and the Middle East, covering the full value chain from exploration and asset development to extraction, processing and value-addition.
The report explains our performance, strategy and value creation model through an interlinked multi-capital framework. It also outlines stakeholder engagement practices, governance structures and risk management processes.
The Board of Directors and the Company’s management accept responsibility for the integrity and completeness of information presented in this report. To the best of their knowledge, the report addresses all material matters and fairly represents the integrated performance, position and impacts of Vedanta Limited.
The report was authorised for release on 19 June 2026.
Our stakeholders include individuals and organisations whose interests or actions influence our ability to execute strategy and sustain performance. We engage regularly with key stakeholder groups to understand expectations and address concerns.
This report focusses on material matters that affect our capacity to create value over the short, medium and long term.
This report should be read alongside the Annual Accounts (pages 428 to 725) for a complete understanding of VEDL’s financial performance.
The consolidated and standalone financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) notified under the Companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Rules, 2015, as amended. These statements have been independently audited by S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP. The Independent Auditors’ Reports for consolidated and standalone financial statements appear on pages 428 and 725 respectively.
This report contains ‘forward-looking statements’ – that is, statements about business expectations and forecasts that are based on future, not past events. In this context, forward-looking statements address our expected future business and financial performance, and often contain words such as ‘expects’, ‘anticipates’, ‘intends’, ‘plans’, ‘believes’, ‘seeks’, or ‘will’. Forward-looking statements by their nature address matters that are, in different degrees, uncertain. For us, uncertainties arise from the behaviour of financial and metals markets including the London Metal Exchange, fluctuations in interest and/or exchange rates and metal prices; from future integration of acquired businesses; and from numerous other matters of national, regional and global scale, including those of environmental, climatic, natural, political, economic, business, competitive or regulatory nature. These uncertainties may cause our actual future results to be materially different than those expressed in our forward-looking statements. We do not undertake to update our forward-looking statements. These forward-looking statements involve risk and uncertainties, and although we believe that the assumption on which our forward-looking statements are based are reasonable, any of those assumptions could prove to be inaccurate and, as a result, the forward-looking statement based on those assumptions could be materially incorrect.
